とにかく価格が安く、光学12倍に惹かれて購入しました。


本体は軽くて小さいので、持ち運びは楽です。
ただ軽くするためか、全体的にプラスチックな感じがして、質感は微妙でした。FZ8のほうが多少質感が上がったかなという気がしました。
あと小さい故にホールドしにくいです。シャッターボタンが沈んでいるので押しにくいです。

バッテリーは結構持ってくれますね。個人的には単三電池式より、バッテリー式のほうが良いので、この点も良かったです。

レンズは望遠側でもF3.3と明るく、ズームを使った撮影には重宝します。レンズ性能の良さも、購入する動機のひとつになったと思います。

パナソニックの手振れ補正は優秀ですね。望遠でもかなり手振れを防いでくれます。

液晶はドットが粗いので、いまいちです。発色も黄色っぽく見えるので、少し惑わされそうでした。EVFも粗いのでピントが合っているか分かりにくいです。

画質はそこまで良くはなく、ISO200くらいまでしか使ってないです。高感度撮影での画質はだめですね。
もともと画質自体はそこまで期待してなかったので、こんなもんだろうとは思います。

AWBは電球の下だと狂う感じがしました。

まあ不満も書きはしましたが、決して悪いカメラではないです。値段を考えると良い買い物だったと思います。
これからも良い製品を作ってほしいです。

This model is slow , without supporting USB2.0 high Speed standard, take a lot of time to transfer pics to my PC .....

And I end up with buying an extra Card reader(wasted money) .

This model is so so so noisy.Even at ISO200,the noise problem is severe and can not use after 6pm due to the excessive noise in shadow areas and the horrible noise reduction Venus Engine 2 smearing off all important fine details.


Well , I think FX07 is an ok model even with the horrible noise problem cause it is a snap cam , but this FZ7 is a camera with manual control so people buy this can not accept the horrible picture quality.

The noise is a problem but the excessive noise reduction is more serious problem than the noise itself......

Hope eventually , Panasonic understand that.


I think Power shot S3is and Sony Cyber Shot H5 are much better cameras over all , and so selling better than this FZ7 model.

I gave this to my sister who did not care the horrible noise and subsequent noise reduction effect on its pictures.


If you wanna a bridge camera , better wait until Sony or Canon release a new model with 12x zoom and the Sony N2 's CCD that is way much better CCD than the FZ50 CCD.

the FZ50 is an ok camera , with a great set of features and manual ring zoom , though lacks striking image quality.


the FZ50 is not as cheap as Fuji S6000 FD so the lack of an acceptable level of image quality is not forgiven.

If it were priced like and auto -only camera like FX07 , I would forgive the horrible noise-reduction , though it is supposed to be a serious camera (who care about the raw) , isn't it?

Well ,FZ series are horrible , useless above 200ISO.


If you can not print large over A4 or 3 due to the horrible smearing effect from the horrible noise reduction system , then , what does having 10mp or 7mp mean?


If you print small , then you only need a 4 mega or 5 mega cam , and no need to waste your hard earned money on this PAnasonic FZ series, which is totally over rated.


In fact , having useless 10mp or 7 mp sensor at 400 ISO is just using up your PC memory way too faster than you should have been using an excellent 6mp camera such as S6000FD or S3Is .

Plus , the FZ50 and 7 lack the important USB 2.0 "high speed" , that means , you will have to buy a card reader to waste more money .......



Canon , Sony , Fuji cameras are all equipped with USB 2.0 high speed , while no panasonic cameras are equaipped with it ...



Ifthe FZ50 was a 5 mp cam with all its features and the great lens , it would be much better model than it is now (without excessive noise reduction requaired).

Any way, the FZ7 is a useless camera , only one good point is the size .

Do not waste any money on the FZ7 or LX2 both are horrible cameras.


the FZ50 is a bit better as a whole , but still the image quality suffers from the excessive noise reduction, and much to be desired.

Only when you don't mind taking pics Raw , FZ50 is a good model for you.

FX07 is ok as a snap camera since it is a cheap model with a quite good lens.


Panasonic should not make any serious prosumer model just stick with P and S cameras (point and shoot).

Hope Panasonic will come up with a better sensor and reduce the excessive level of noise reduction , then will become a true winning package.

I may buy the FZ50 for myself and test it , just curious to know it is as bad as I think it is (I just used it for 4 days since my dad bought it but he sold it to his friend 3 days ago).

従来から使っていたpower shot s40と比較すると低照度でのノイズが多いような気がします。（私が購入した物だけが悪いのでしょうか？）
単色を撮影しても縞模様のような感じがでます。
また、運動会で撮影したのですが、ＪＰＧで撮影した輪郭が不自然に濃いのです。ＣＡＮＯＮはそのようなことはなく、低照度でも多少暗い程度で、自然に撮影できています。
運動会では１２ｘのメリットでよく撮影は出来ると思いますが、体育館等の低照度で、動きのある撮影はまるっきりダメでした。
とはいえ、ＦＺ７には１２ｘというメリットがありますので、現在は２台を持ち歩き、その時々の条件でデジカメを換えて撮影しています。（２台持ち歩くとそれなりに重いですが・・・）

店頭で色々試しましたが、液晶のインチサイズに対し解像度が悪いだけでなく、画面がチラチラして見ずらく買う気がうせました。
ＦＺ５の時の、アダプター不良は以前のようにねじ式に戻り、また、ＭＣプロテクター使用時フラッシュ撮影時のケラレも改善され、当たり前の普通に戻ったという感じです。
高解像度やズームが必要な人ならいいと思います。
ＦＺ２で満足です。

まず、高感度モードは使い物になりません。ISO80や100で撮ってもノイズが出ます。普段、デジ一眼を使っているせいもありますが、あまり納得できません。ただ、Ｌ判やハガキサイズならまずまずです。旅行の写真くらいならＯＫかな。
動画は、撮影中にはピント調節不可（ピント固定）で、ズームも動かせない。画質は満足レベルですが。
操作性はまずまずだが、動画の場合は、直接プレビュー出来ない。静止画なら出来るのに、何故？
また、液晶は中途半端。大きく見やすいのに、密度が低い。ピント確認がしにくい。
電源ONした状態でレンズキャップが出来ない。キャップをしたまま、電源をONに出来ない。
フードアダプターが大きく取り付けるのがいやなので、結局、レンズフードが使えない。
ファインダーが出っ張り過ぎ。
手ブレ補正に劇的な効果を期待していたが、そんなに無いような気もする。
ズームスピードが落ちた？
予備バッテリーが電器屋で売ってないのですが・・・。
でも、これ以外には、特に不満なし。
トランセンドやPQIのSDカードもムービー含め正常に使えるし、本体はコンパクトかつ軽量で、バッテリーチャージャーもまぁまぁ小さめ（これは嬉しい）。良いカメラですよ。
